Job Description

Role – Dayforce Consultant/ Solution Lead

Location – London (Hybrid – 3 day onsite)

Contract – 6 Months Initially

Must Have - Dayforce (with Integrations and Configurations),HRIS Solution Design,Workforce Management

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Dayforce Consultant / Solution Lead with 10+ years of experience in HRIS implementations, including extensive hands-on expertise with Ceridian Dayforce. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Dayforce HCM solutions, provide functional and technical leadership, and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality workforce management solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Functional Leadership
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dayforce HCM solutions across modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Recruiting.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable Dayforce solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide functional and technical guidance for solution design, configuration, and deployment.
  • Drive best practices for Dayforce implementation, governance, and release management.
  • Implementation & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end Dayforce implementation, enhancement, and upgrade projects.
  • Manage module rollouts, feature enablement, regression testing, UAT, and production deployments.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
  • Integrations & Data Management
  • Design and oversee integrations between Dayforce and enterprise systems such as HRIS, Payroll, ERP, Benefits, and third-party applications.
  • Work with APIs, SFTP, XML/JSON, and file-based integrations.
  • Ensure data quality through audits, validations, reconciliation, and governance practices.
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Develop and optimize Dayforce reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and audit standards across multiple geographies.
  • Support leadership with workforce reporting and operational insights.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary functional advisor for Dayforce initiatives.
  • Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide technical oversight to project teams.
  • Collaborate with global teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall HRIS/HCM experience, with significant hands-on experience in Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Strong expertise across Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Recruiting.
  • Extensive experience in Dayforce configuration, workflows, pay policies, scheduling, security, and business processes.
  • Strong experience with Dayforce integrations, including APIs, SFTP, XML/JSON, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Deep understanding of HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working with business and technical leadership.
  • Ability to lead teams, mentor consultants, and drive delivery independently.
  • Dayforce certification(s) preferred.

Good to Have

  • Experience with global or multi-country Dayforce implementations.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with HRIS transformation and digital workforce initiatives.
  • Exposure to integration platforms and middleware solutions.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Additional HRIS certifications or experience with other HCM platforms.
