Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Columbia, MS location (925 US-98). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our valued customers. As a Delivery Driver, you'll combine efficient route management with exceptional customer service, making every delivery a positive experience. • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers in assigned routes and territories
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
• Load, unload, and secure products safely, following proper handling procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special notes
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with empathy and transparency
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately, demonstrating strong mathematical skills
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record
• Build positive customer relationships through reliable service and professional behavior
• Assist with loading and organizing inventory as needed to support team operations

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Valid driver's license (appropriate for vehicle type) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and route calculations
• Ability to lift, carry, and load/unload products safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving practices
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical capability to perform duties in various weather conditions

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with GPS navigation and route optimization software
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent
• Previous customer-facing experience in a delivery or logistics environment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Experience with mobile delivery applications and digital record-keeping
• Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish)
• Professional certification in vehicle safety or defensive driving
