Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and efficient front of house team member to join our team at our newly opened cafe at Paddington station

In this fast-paced hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of food preparation and cleanliness. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, flexible shedule and enjoys working with customers and colleagues alike.

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper food storage and inventory management
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure customer safety
• Take customer orders and respond to inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels throughout the shift
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations during peak hours
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with all customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or food service setting
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail with a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
• Reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment (preferred)
